Renovation of a residential building – completion
“The breakfast room should be bigger.” That was the requirement we were asked for this project in mid-2017.
It is an old house, to which a restaurant was grown. At the time, on the ground floor of the house, there was a small breakfast room that covered half of the property. The plan was to extend the space to the entire floor space of the house, to set up four new guest rooms on the first floor and an operating apartment in the attic.
The building consisted of beamed ceilings with sand fill. This was upgraded by us with a new HBV® ceiling.
At the heart of the new ceiling structure is a beam made from a BauBuche ™ beam by Pollmeier, which stretches out to the edge of the former residential building.
Today, 8 months later, the project is successfully completed.
