Our scope also includes the structural planning of bridges built in timber and concrete composite. This is especially lasting compared to common constructions made of stone, concrete or steel. By using timber elements in the tensile zone and by the curved form the Aggerbr\u00fccke elegantly fits into the natural landscape of the river.<\/p>\n

Herein the concrete surface provides for a solid road and at the same time protects the timber components underneath from withering. In this the combination of timber and concrete reduces the respective cross-section surfaces maintaining equal loadability. Moreover, the tie rod on both outer bearings provides for the necessary stability. A technically and visually innovative timber and concrete composite bridge, facilitated by the HBV systems.<\/p>\n<\/div>
