Leander Bathon has the idea to glue metal plates into wood, in order to connect wood with other building materials.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

First test specimens are manufactured in cooperation with the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Germany.

The Hessian Cooperation Award (Hessische Kooperationspreis)<\/strong> is awarded to our wood-concrete composite ceilings (HBV ceilings) for spans of up to 20 meters.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

TiComTec GmbH is founded with the goal of\u00a0 further developing and distributing the HBV systems.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The German Timber Construction Prize (Deutsche Holzbaupreis)<\/strong> is awarded for the HBV system in the category components\/concepts for glued-in expanded metal as a connector for bridges.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

An innovative solution for the wood-steel adhesive bond was another goal and was achieved after a 10 year development of the glued-in perforated sheets.
